Amazon announced its drone delivery service "Prime Air" in 2013. Ten years have passed since then, and the company is actively advancing drone delivery pilot programs at new bases in California and Texas. In 2023, they started a service to deliver prescription medications via drone within one hour of ordering, free of charge, to specific customers in Texas who have been permitted to install markers at delivery locations. Additionally, Walmart's drone delivery achievements have already exceeded 10,000 deliveries across 36 stores in seven states.
